Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery at Antioch is a place for everyone. When most people hear the word “recovery”, they instantly assume something for drug addicts and alcoholics. Sadly, there is an incredible misconception about what Celebrate Recovery is and who it is for.
Do you struggle with: depression, loneliness, over-eating, pride, anger, shame, regret, perfectionism, co-dependency, chemical dependency, marital problems, physical abuse, sexual abuse, people-pleasing, financial issues? Do you love Jesus? If you answered yes to any of those questions…then Celebrate Recovery is for you. 66% of people who attend Celebrate Recovery struggle with something other than alcoholism or chemical dependency. We are a place for everyone under the Son!
I believe by working and applying Biblical principles, that people can grow spiritually while in recovery. Through Jesus we can become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with Christ.
God’s word says in Romans 3:23 that we all have sinned. That includes you and me. Everyone has fallen short of His Glory. We are a place where you can take off your mask and let the healing process begin. At Celebrate Recovery we speak only of the Gospel Truth. We stand firmly on God’s word to help overcome our hurts, habits, and hang-ups.
I believe it was not the Roman Soldiers who held Jesus to the cross…it was not even nails...it was God’s unconditional love for you and me that held Him there. Mine deep enough in every heart and you’ll find it: a longing for meaning, a quest for purpose. We are meant to live for Him and He alone is our purpose for sharing the Good News and love with the world.
I encourage you to visit us on Friday’s at 6:00pm to see the great works God is doing in peoples lives. Be a part of this movement!
p.s. Perfect people will be welcomed too.
